FIFPro Tournament 2017 in Sofia

On 3, 4 and 5th July at the sports complex Tsarsko Selo in Sofia was held the FIFPro Tournament 2017 with the participating teams of unemployed players of PSAP (Greece), AFAN (Romania), PZP (Poland) and naturally ABF (Bulgaria). Each country played 2 full (2 x 45 min) games, and the pairs were previously determined by a draw: Bulgaria - Greece; Romania - Poland.
The winners of the tournament were Greece, who defeated Bulgaria in their first match by 3-1 and beat Poland in the final game. The Polish were competing for the first place, after having been defeated in their first game Romania, by 4-2. Bulgaria took third place with a 1 nil win over Romania.
Doncho Donev - the President of the ABF awarded the team of PSAP with the winners' cup. The Polish player Fabian Piasecki was voted for the best player of the tournament and won the individual prize.

The tournament was attended by scouts and agents and representatives of local clubs.
